Kingston Interval House is currently accepting applications for:
Volunteer Board Members
Kingston Interval House provides emergency shelter, supportive counselling, outreach services and second stage housing to women and their children who experience violence in the Kingston and surrounding area.
The KIH Board is seeking women to fill vacant board positions. Meeting monthly and participating in committee work, the Board of Directors provides leadership in establishing priorities and direction for KIH services. Board members are asked to commit to approximately ten (10) hours per month and attend monthly board meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at 5:30 pm.
To represent our broader community, we would especially welcome applications from women who identify as Indigenous, racialized, from diverse cultural communities, those with disabilities, as well as women who have used our services.
