Be the bridge to a violence-free future for women, children, and youth in our community who are escaping violence.

Your monthly investment will provide KIH with sustainable support so that it can continue to empower clients to move towards a future free of violence and oppression.

Here are just some of the things donated funds are used for.

Good Food Boxes are filled with fresh fruits and vegetables and are provided to KIH Robin’s Hope clients to increase their access to healthy food as they move towards a future free of violence.

If KIH has the funds available, large boxes are ordered for all residents.

Each new resident moving from the shelter into the Robin’s Hope Second Stage Housing Facility receives a welcome basket. These generally consist of a laundry basket filled with cleaning items, cutlery, dish cloths and towels, dishes, pots, and pans, can openers, garbage bags, paper towel, toilet paper, non-perishable food items, and, at times, small appliances such as toasters and kettles.

Grocery Store gift cards are always in demand by our residents and outreach clients. Women often require them when they move into Robin’s Hope and when they move out into the community.

Each month the Staff Team at Robin’s Hope prepare a meal for the residents. Prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone would gather and enjoy the meal together. Currently, the Staff Team serves dinner to residents in their own plates and bowls so they can take it back to their apartments to enjoy. The dinners vary every month (i.e., spaghetti, stew, soup, turkey, lasagna, pizza).

KIH frequently offers these gift cards to clients so they haver easier access to an assortment of various needed items. Everything from inexpensive gifts for their children, to food, kitchen utensils, and pet food etc.
