Crisis and Counselling Services


Kingston General Hospital – Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Program
The Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Program provides 24 hour/7 days a week emergency medical and nursing care, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy and HIV, forensic evidence collection and documentation including the Sexual Assault Evidence Kit (SAEK) and forensic photography, crisis counselling, safety planning, medical and social work follow-up to individuals who have recently been sexually or domestically assaulted.

Sexual Assault Centre Kingston
Offers Crisis Support, Public Education and Counselling for Kingston and Area.

K3C Women’s Counselling Program
Provides a confidential, safe and supportive place where women can talk and explore their options. All services in the Women’s Counselling program are free.

Partner Assault Response Program
The primary focus of the PAR program is to enhance the safety of victims of domestic violence. This is achieved by providing information and support to victims, and educating and offering counselling to individuals found guilty of or pleading guilty to a charge of partner assault.

Assaulted Women’s Helpline
We are a 24-hour telephone and TTY crisis line for women in the province of Ontario. Our service is anonymous and confidential You don’t have to give your name Our toll-free number won’t show up on your phone bill We do not have call display.

Shelter Safe
ShelterSafe is an online resource to help women and their children seeking safety from violence and abuse. The clickable map will serve as a fast resource to connect women with the nearest shelter that can offer safety, hope and support.

Children & Youth Services


Pathways for Children and Youth
Pathways for children and youth is a mental health agency in Frontenac, Lennox and Addington counties, dedicated to strengthening and supporting the emotional well-being of children and families. We offer a range of services, including counseling, education, advocacy and other interventions in an environment of dignity and respect.

Girls Inc.
Girls Inc. Limestone provides mentoring and life-skills education programs for girls, and is at the heart of girls’ lives, and forefront of the girls’ rights movement.

Family and Children’s Services of Frontenac, Lennox and Addington
The Family and Children’s Services of Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, in partnership with our community, protects children, strives to enable youth, strengthens families and prevent child abuse.

Kingston Youth Shelter 
The Kingston Youth Shelter is open to all youth, both male and female, between the ages of 16 and 24 who are in need of emergency housing. The referral process is very simple – come to our door! We hold up to 15 youth per night. We offer a safe environment with nutritious food, counselling, support and life skills training.
