The Danielle Duchesneau Fund has been made available through Kingston Interval House for women who have been or are victims of violence. Priority is given to women needing funds for safety issues or to pursue legal resources that are not available from other sources.
Danielle Duchesneau was a young woman killed by her ex-boyfriend in Kingston. With the support of Danielle’s parents, the fund was established in Danielle’s memory to help women who are victims of violence.
A woman may apply for up to $300.00 for such things as service of court documents, limited legal consultation (after using the free 2 hour legal form), or to have locks changed.
